Welcome to Daedalus Artisan

Daedalus Artisan (formally phreshnet) is a small private consulting company with 12 years experience in design, development and search engine strategy for small business.  Our mission is to provide very high quality products with high touch to help small business compete in the online world.

In all the years I have been involved in this work, one lesson is clear: the technology that makes the site work is secondary to the business logic behind it. It is not enough to simply have a website, the internet is littered with countless websites that languish in unseen backwaters never realizing the dreams of the business owners. Quite simply, what you do with your website is much more important than having one.

This site is new. In 2008 I closed Phreshnet.com and started Daedalus Artisan as a way to cultivate small, high quality accounts and provide excellent service on a small scale. The last couple of years have been good to me, and today I hope to begin a new era of hands on development and more importantly using over a decade of internet experience to craft sustainable, affordable strategies for small business owners and their web sites.
